Most people take breathing for granted. It isn’t something you have to think about because it is in fact an involuntary response. Here at Greenwood County Hospital, we understand that for those who suffer from breathing problems, each breath is a major effort. We understand that newborns to senior citizens may face respiratory difficulties or chronic lung disorders such as CHF, asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, etc. We know patients suffering from a heart attack, stroke, pneumonia, as well as accident victims might also experience respiratory distress.
Here at Greenwood County Hospital, under the direction of a physician, we have skilled respiratory therapy staff who can evaluate, treat, educate, and care for our patients with breathing disorders.
