The Clinical Laboratory at Greenwood County Hospital offers a comprehensive menu of clinical laboratory testing on an inpatient and outpatient basis to assist physicians and providers with their diagnosis and treatment of patients. The department is staffed by certified personnel who are dedicated to the efficient handling and quality testing for thousands of tests per year. We take pride in our superior quality and excellent service.

About the Clinical Laboratory

The Clinical Laboratory is open 24-hours a day and capable of handling STAT or emergency outpatient services as needed and is licensed with the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA).

We can perform any of your lab services here, even if you do not “doctor” at our clinic. Ask your provider to send us your order, and then come to our facility during our normal hours of service.

    The Clinical Laboratory also performs urine collection for pre-employment or post-accident and is sent to your employer’s reference laboratory for testing. Please make sure you have the correct chain of custody form for this.

  • Reference Labs

    For those tests that the laboratory is not able to perform in-house, we use reference labs, LabCorp for special chemistry and toxicology, and Fredonia Regional Hospital for microbiology testing.
